How One Love Project Kenya Started
One Love Project Kenya was founded in 2019 by Denis Katana, a passionate youth leader determined to inspire unity through community action. It began as a simple project where young people came together to visit orphanages and uplift vulnerable communities through acts of service and love.
After 2020, we identified our mission more clearly: to empower youth to lead sustainable change by focusing on No Poverty (SDG 1), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Climate Action (SDG 13). Today, One Love Project is expanding its impact across Africa, with a bold goal—to build schools and hospitals, and launch sustainable youth-led businesses that create jobs and long-term community solutions.
What started in Kenya is now growing into a continental movement for unity, empowerment, and transformation.
